Job summary

Fichtner Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer in Chennai to develop comprehensive HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping layouts, using CAD and Revit. The role involves duct and pipe sizing, BOM/BOQ preparation, and creating detailed HVAC drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.

You will coordinate with Civil and other disciplines to ensure proper design integration and will review equipment interference during IDC reviews, ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in HVAC design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other HVAC design software.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC system designs, including ductwork and piping layouts, using CAD/Revit software.
