Job summary

Mepconcepts in Mumbai seeks an HVAC Draftsman to produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD and to specialize in duct and ventilation design. The role requires advanced AutoCAD skills and experience with HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF and DX configurations.

Coordination drawings for MEP and architecture are essential, with a basic grasp of firefighting drawings being a plus. The candidate will prepare sections, standard details, and perform related HVAC calculations, such as grill sizing and

Qualifications

• Advanced AutoCAD skills for detailed HVAC drawings.
• Proficient in HVAC drafting including duct, ventilation, VRV/VRF and DX system designs.
• Experience in creating coordination drawings for MEP and architecture.
• Basic understanding of fire-fighting drawing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop duct design and sizing calculations (grill, diffuser).
• Create sections, standard details, and drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP and architecture teams.
• Assist with basic fire-fighting drawing prep (preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC system components and related calculations.

Role & responsibilities

.Preparing the detailed HVAC drawings for various projects using AutoCAD (Any version).

2. Candidates should have the advanced skill level in AutoCAD.

3. Should Have knowledge of HVAC Drafting such as Duct Design, Chilled Water Pipe Design, Ventilation Design, VRV / VRF System Design, DX System Design 4. Should have experience in preparation of coordination drawings for MEP and architecture. 5. Basic understanding of the fire-fighting drawing preparation is preferred.

6. Candidates should be able to prepare the sections, standard details and drawings.

7. Should know all necessary calculations related to HVAC (Grill sizing, diffuser selection, etc. )

8. Candidate should be able to use the duct sizer and should know the methods of duct sizing

9. Candidates should have knowledge of the HVAC system components.

10. Candidates with the experience in the retail HVAC services designs are preferred.

11. REVIT experience will not be required
