Job summary

Envigaurd Engineering and Turnkey Projects Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for an HVAC Design Engineer to join our Bengaluru team.

The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design, load calculations, duct layouts, equipment selection, and MEP coordination, with the ability to join immediately. You will design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, prepare BOQs and specifications, and collaborate with architectural, electrical, and plumbing teams

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3-8 years of relevant HVAC design experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design and equipment selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP experience is an advantage.
• Experience in cooling load calculations, duct sizing, and HVAC BOQ preparation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and other building projects.
• Perform cooling load calculations and estimate equipment capacities.
• Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, chilled-water piping layouts, and schematics.
• Select suitable HVAC equipment, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF systems, and ductable units.
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams.
• Review HVAC drawings and resolve design and site-related issues.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Support estimation, tendering, technical submissions, and site execution teams.
• Revise drawings and documentation based on client and consultant comments.
