Job summary

Tecnimont is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to develop HVAC system designs for industrial, commercial, and building projects. You will prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and calculations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications and international standards.

Ideal candidates have 6–15 years of HVAC design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP, and knowledge of international HVAC codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-15 years of HVAC design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP.
• Knowledge of international HVAC codes and standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC design drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Design HVAC systems including chilled water, ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and smoke extraction systems.
• Perform cooling and heating load calculations.
• Develop duct routing, equipment layouts, and piping layouts.
• Prepare HVAC equipment schedules and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and project specifications.
• Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
• Participate in design reviews, meetings, and site coordination activities.
• Assist in resolving engineering and construction-related issues.
