Aedium Design in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced HVAC CAD Engineer to develop detailed drawings for large-scale projects. You will create ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts using AutoCAD and Revit, and interpret blueprints.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience; you will coordinate with MEP teams and ensure compliance with ASHRAE/SMACNA standards while updating drawings and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of HVAC CAD experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed HVAC system drawings including ductwork and equipment layouts using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Interpret blueprints to create precise designs.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and other disciplines to integrate HVAC designs with plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Assist in load calculations and equipment selection.
• Maintain drawing documentation and comply with industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
• Revise drawings based on client feedback and site conditions.
• Perform clash detection and coordination in BIM models.
• Provide drafting support to project teams as needed.
