Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks an HVAC BIM Modeler (Revit) to create, develop, and coordinate 3D BIM models for HVAC systems. You will prepare layouts, extract quantities from BIM, and resolve clashes while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project standards.

The role requires delivering detailed installation drawings and ensuring compliance with client specifications and BIM requirements. Collaboration with BIM Coordinators and Project Engineers is essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for HVAC BIM modeling.
• Experience creating 3D BIM models and shop drawings for HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and coordinate 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Revit.
• Prepare Approval / GFC layouts and extract quantities from BIM models.
• Resolve clashes and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection teams.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client specifications and project LOD requirements.

Job Summary

The HVAC BIM Modeler (Revit) is responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit. The role involves preparing Approval / GFC layouts, taking quantity from the BIM model, resolving the clashes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project deliverables comply with client and company BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities for generating the below HVAC layouts:

• Supply and return Duct layouts
• Chilled water piping layouts
• Mechanical equipment layouts like AHU, FWH, Chillers, cooling tower, VSDs, units etc.
• Prepare HVAC shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed installation drawings.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve coordination issues.
• Extract quantities and generate material take-offs from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.
• Support BIM Coordinators and Project Engineers during project execution.
