Job summary

Green Concept Engineering Consultants in India seeks a Senior Mechanical BIM Modeler to create and maintain 3D BIM models for building services, focusing on HVAC, ducting, piping, and equipment layouts. You will support clash detection, coordination, and production of installation drawings using Revit MEP.

You will collaborate with engineers and designers, review design standards, and mentor junior BIM modelers to ensure timely, accurate deliverables aligned with project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in Mechanical BIM modeling for building services projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model quality checks.
• Knowledge of Navisworks Manage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical building services, including HVAC, ducting, piping, and related systems.
• Prepare HVAC layouts, duct routing, chilled water piping, equipment layouts, and detailed installation drawings using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Develop coordinated BIM models in accordance with project specifications, design standards, and BIM execution requirements.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other disciplines.
• Prepare shop drawings, sections, elevations, schedules, and construction documentation.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure accurate mechanical system modeling.
• Identify and resolve modeling issues, design conflicts, and coordination discrepancies.
• Support BIM coordination meetings and implement comments from engineers and project teams.
• Guide and mentor junior BIM modelers and review their work for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned models and drawings in accordance with project deadlines

About the job

This is a full-time for Senior Mechanical BIM Mechanical Modelers.

BIM Mechanical Modelers will create and maintain 3D models, ensure clash detection and resolution, and support design documentation in coordination with the engineering team. All professionals in this role will review design standards, support quality assurance processes, participate in technical meetings, and collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver compliant, efficient, and constructible solutions. The position also involves supporting inspections, design revisions, and continuous improvement of design workflows based on project feedback and latest industry practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.


• 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in Mechanical BIM modeling for building services projects.


• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD.


• Good understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, and mechanical equipment layouts.


• Experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model quality checks.


• Knowledge of Navisworks Manage is preferred.


• Ability to interpret mechanical design drawings, specifications, and architectural/structural drawings.


• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and coordination skills.
