DESCRIPTION

Primary goal: Find, attract, and hire the right talent for company vacancies within time and budget.

• Requirement gathering:
  • Meet hiring managers to understand JD, must-have skills, and compensation range
  • Plan hiring timelines and sourcing strategy
• Sourcing & attracting candidates:
  • Post jobs on Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, company careers page
  • Headhunt passive candidates on LinkedIn/GitHub
  • Tap into employee referrals, job fairs, campus drives
• Screening & shortlisting:
  • Scan resumes for skill match and culture fit
  • Conduct phone/video screening to check communication, salary, notice period
  • Share shortlist + screening notes with hiring managers
• Interview coordination:
  • Schedule all interview rounds with candidates + panels
  • Send calendar invites, prep candidates on process
  • Collect and share feedback post each round
• Offer & closing:
  • Negotiate salary + benefits within approved band
  • Release offer letter, follow up till joining
  • Handle counter-offers and candidate dropouts
• Pipeline & reporting:
  • Build talent pool for future roles
  • Maintain ATS/HRMS with updated candidate status
  • Track metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-to-joining ratio

KPIs you're measured on:

• Time-to-fill per role
• Offer acceptance rate
• Quality of hire after 3 months
• Cost-per-hire

Note: Difference between recruiter and HR generalist- Recruiter = only hiring and HR generalist = hiring + payroll + engagement + compliance
