Role & Responsibilities
Purpose of the role: The Talent Acquisition HR Specialist for cafe/store-level hiring is responsible for managing the recruitment process for front-line roles within cafes or retail stores. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that the organization attracts and hires top-quality talent to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence at the store level.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for cafe/store-level roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for positions such as Team Members, Baristas, Cafe/Store Managers, Kitchen Staff, and Support Roles.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates for cafe/store-level roles (e.g., Team Members, Baristas, Cafe Managers, Kitchen Staff, Support Staff). Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create hiring plans. Utilize job boards, social media, employee referrals, and local recruitment drives. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews. Work closely with store/cafe managers and regional teams to align recruitment efforts with operational goals. Provide updates on recruitment progress and challenges. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Maintain records and generate reports for leadership.
Employee Onboarding: Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new employees, ensuring they have resources to integrate smoothly.
Employee Relations: Mediate conflicts, address complaints, and foster a positive work environment.
Training and Development: Support employee onboarding and professional development.
Performance Management: Assist in evaluations, feedback, and performance issues.
HR Policies and Compliance: Enforce policies, ensure legal compliance, and stay updated on employment law.
Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate HR reports, analyze data, and maintain records of employee activities.
Employee Engagement: Implement engagement initiatives and conduct satisfaction surveys.
HR Information Systems: Manage HRIS to maintain records and streamline processes.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
Experience: 2-4 years, including 1+ years in FMCG/Retail or hospitality industries.
