Job summary

BJ GMC Clinical Trials Unit & Clinical Research Unit is seeking an HR Operations specialist to oversee day-to-day HR activities in Pune. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leaves and employee relations, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on HR experience, solid knowledge of HR processes, and proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in HR or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of hands-on HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, compliance and employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, leaves, grievances and contracts.
• Maintain HR records, employee files and HR databases in a timely manner.
• Administer payroll and ensure statutory compliance with accurate documentation.
• Support study departments in performance management and appraisal processes.
• Address employees queries with fairness, sensitivity and strict confidentiality.
• Coordinate training, development programs and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, organizational policies and audits requirements.
• Assist in restructuring and revising HR policies, SOPs and communications as needed.
• Collaborate with management to identify and implement HR process improvements.

• Maintain and update HR Records, employee files, and HR databases in a timely manner.
• Administer payroll and ensure statutory compliance with accurate documentation.
• Support Study Departments in performance management and appraisal processes.
• Address employees queries with fairness, sensitivity and strict confidentiality.
• Coordinate training, development programs and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, organizational policies and audits requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
