Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage the complete Human Resources and Administration functions of the organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, training, attendance, and overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage the complete recruitment and selection process from sourcing to joining.
- Identify manpower requirements in coordination with department heads.
- Prepare job descriptions and publish vacancies through appropriate recruitment portals.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, and coordinate with management for final selection.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and joining documentation.
- Maintain recruitment records and manpower status.
2. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and workplace-related issues professionally.
- Maintain healthy communication between employees and management.
- Address disciplinary matters, absenteeism, misconduct, and workplace conflicts.
- Conduct employee counselling and support employee engagement activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism, and shift schedules.
- Coordinate with the Time Office and department heads regarding attendance issues.
- Maintain accurate employee attendance and leave records.
- Ensure timely submission of attendance inputs for payroll processing.
4. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the Accounts/Finance Department.
- Verify salary, attendance, deductions, incentives, overtime, and other payroll inputs.
- Handle salary revisions, increments, promotions, and employee compensation records.
- Maintain accurate employee salary and statutory deduction records.
5. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate matters relating to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Professional Tax, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments, Factories Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities whenever required.
6. Training & Development
- Identify employee training requirements in consultation with department heads.
- Organize induction and orientation programmes for new employees.
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, safety, and product-related training programmes.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance appraisal and review processes.
- Support department heads in setting performance objectives and evaluating employees.
- Manage promotion, increment, confirmation, transfer, and performance-related documentation.
8. HR Policies & Documentation
- Develop, implement, and periodically review HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee personal files and confidential HR records.
- Ensure proper documentation of appointment, confirmation, promotion, transfer, disciplinary action, and separation.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, manpower reports, and management updates.
9. Administration
- Oversee general HR and administrative activities.
- Coordinate facilities such as security, canteen, transport, housekeeping, uniforms, ID cards, and employee welfare facilities.
- Monitor contract labour and manpower-related administrative activities.
- Coordinate employee welfare programmes and company events.
10. Separation & Exit Management
- Manage resignation, notice period, relieving, and full-and-final settlement processes.
- Conduct exit interviews where required.
- Ensure proper handover and clearance procedures before employee separation.
- Coordinate issuance of relieving and experience certificates.

Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Additional certification in HR / Labour Laws will be an advantage.
Experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial organization.
- Candidates with experience in handling factory manpower, contract labour, statutory compliance, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations will be preferred.
