Leading NBFC in Mumbai is seeking a Human Resource - ER- POSH expert to drive POSH framework compliance across pan-India BFSI operations. The role ensures 100% statutory compliance, champions a zero-tolerance stance on harassment, and manages the case lifecycle under IC guidelines.

You will act as the SME for POSH, oversee investigations, and coordinate with legal and HR teams to implement disciplinary actions and annual policy updates, fostering a compliant, confidential work culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and advisory anchor for the Internal Committee (IC).
• Ensure adherence to POSH Act and regional labor laws across branches and remote environments.
• Prepare, audit, and submit the Annual POSH Report to District Officers and regulators.
• Review and update POSH policy annually to reflect judicial precedents.
• Act as confidential contact for harassment complaints and guide IC procedures with due process.
• Document case proceedings, draft investigation reports, and propose corrective actions to leadership.
• Coordinate disciplinary actions with legal and HR operations teams.
• Design and deliver POSH awareness programs for BFSI workforce and conduct advanced IC trainings.

Job Purpose

In this role you willbe responsible forPOSH framework across our pan-India BFSI operations. You will ensure 100% compliance with statutory mandates, champion a zero-tolerance culture toward sexual harassment, and manage the case lifecycle under the Internal Committee (IC) guidelines. This role requires an expert-level understanding of POSH laws alongside the high compliance and confidentiality standards inherent to the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as thesubject matter expert (SME)and advisory anchor for the Internal Committee (IC).
• Ensure strict adherence to thePOSH Act(and relevant regional labor laws) across all branches, corporate offices, and remote working environments.
• Prepare, audit, and submit theAnnual POSH Reportto District Officers and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Review and update the companys POSH policy annually to align with changing judicial precedents.

Case Management & Restorative Justice

• Act as the primary, highly confidential point of contact for receiving and triaging harassment complaints.
• Guide the IC through legally airtightinvestigation procedures, ensuring adherence to the principles of natural justice.
• Document case proceedings, draft detailed investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions to executive leadership.
• Coordinate the implementation of disciplinary actions (e.g., terminations, transfers, or warnings) with the legal and HR operations teams.

Training & Culture Advocacy

• Design and execute mandatoryPOSH awareness programstailored for a diverse BFSI workforce (frontline branch staff, sales agents, and corporate executives).
• Conduct specialized, advanced training sessions for IC members regarding legal nuances, interviewing techniques, and unconscious bias.
• Launch communication campaigns (digital, posters, mailers) to sustain visibility around the organization’s zero-tolerance stance.
