Job summary

Torrent Power Limited is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR activities for a Greenfield Thermal Power Project at site in Madhya Pradesh. You will ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies, coordinate with contractors for manpower deployment, and support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

You will maintain positive industrial relations, handle trade unions and worker issues, prepare HR reports, and coordinate with authorities to ensure smooth HR

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of labour laws including CLRA, ESIC, PF, Gratuity, Trade Unions Act.
• Experience with labour colony management and welfare.
• Experience with resettlement and rehabilitation processes.
• Strong liaison and coordination with authorities and contractors.
• Proven ability to manage a workforce of 3,000–5,000.

Responsibilities

• Liaisoning and coordination with District administration, labour dept., police authorities etc.
• Prepare HR reports, MIS, and manpower updates for management.
• Support site administration activities including accommodation, transport, canteen, and other employee facilities.
• Work closely with project and functional heads to ensure smooth HR operations.
