Job summary

HDB Financial Services Ltd. in Chennai seeks a seasoned professional to oversee underwriting of Cross Sell products and manage credit quality. The role requires strong policy understanding, team leadership, and ongoing MIS tracking across Consumer Durable segments.

You will ensure 100% screening of applications, enforce turnaround targets, and drive fraud prevention. Prior experience in loans and market intelligence is essential for effective performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate / MBA with 6-8 years of experience.
• Understanding of Loans Business and its key aspects.
• Must have team handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for underwriting of Cross Sell products.
• Manage credit quality and control delinquencies.
• Understand credit policy and processes as well as credit environment in the city / branch.
• Ensuring 100% screening of new applications.
• Ensuring appropriate work allocation.
• Responsible for updating and maintain sound Market intelligence of Consumer Durable business.
• Investigation on pre-acquisition fraud's.
• Managing Weekly and Monthly MIS and Trackers.
• Assessing training needs to accelerate his teams performance.
• Frequent check on feedback going to business.
• Monitor and enforce approval rate and TAT as per prescribed standards.
• Co-ordination with Business team for resolving queries.
• Sharing of best practices and trend for respective locations.
• Managing manpower requirements on timely basis.
• Fraud detection and prevention.
• Credit Management.
• Decision making and capability of exception processing.
• Workflow understanding and good time-motion study abilities.
