Job summary

IHFL is looking for a Mortgage Credit Specialist in Mysuru, India to manage end-to-end credit processing for Home Loans, LAP, and Mortgage products. You will verify KYC, income, banking, financials, and property documents, and assess creditworthiness and repayment capacity.

Coordinate with sales, operations, and external agencies to ensure timely sanction and disbursement while adhering to credit policy and regulatory guidelines. Attention to detail and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end credit processing for Home Loans, LAP, and Mortgage products.
• Verify KYC, income, banking, financials, property documents.
• Assess creditworthiness, repayment capacity, income stability, and existing obligations.
• Review salary slips, Form 16, ITRs, bank statements, GST returns, and business documents.
• Review bureau/CIBIL reports and credit behaviour; identify risks.
• Coordinate with sales, credit, operations, legal and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies and obtain clarifications/documents.
• Prepare and maintain credit notes, login sheets, MIS and reports.
• Coordinate with managers/underwriters for case assessment, queries, approvals, and sanctions.

• Handle end-to-end credit processing for Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), and Mortgage products.
• Verify customer KYC, Income, Banking, financials, property, and other loan-related documents.
• Conduct preliminary assessment of customer creditworthiness, repayment capacity, income stability, and existing obligations.
• Analyze salary slips, Form 16, ITRs, bank statements, GST returns, financial statements, and business documents as applicable.
• Review bureau/CIBIL reports, repayment history, existing liabilities, and credit behaviour.
• Coordinate with sales, credit, operations, legal, technical and external agencies for smooth processing.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy, eligibility norms, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies, gaps, or potential risks in applications and obtain necessary clarifications/documents.
• Prepare and maintain credit notes, login sheets, deviation details, and case-related MIS/reports.
• Coordinate with credit managers/underwriters for case assessment, queries, approvals, and sanction processing.

Preferred candidate profile
