Job summary

Meka Infrastructure invites applications for an HSE Officer/Engineer position based at project sites in Gujarat. The role requires 3–5 years of experience and relevant safety qualifications, with preference for candidates familiar with marine, offshore, and heavy lifting operations.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or an equivalent B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry with Safety/ADIS certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate on-site safety

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HSE experience.
• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry with Safety Diploma/ADIS.
• Experience in Marine/Offshore/Heavy lifting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at project sites.
• Conduct site safety inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory HSE requirements and project safety procedures.
• Monitor safe working practices for lifting, marine, offshore, and other high-risk activities.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
