Aufgaben

• Implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Monitor construction activities including work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting, electrical, and hot work.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness sessions for workers/subcontractors.
• Ensure proper PPE use by all site personnel.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents/incidents/near misses and report with corrective actions.
• Monitor permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities.
• Inspect firefighting equipment, first-aid facilities, emergency exits, and other safety measures.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident registers, and training docs.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to promote safety.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental protections at site.
• Ensure timely closure of safety observations and non-compliance reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site-specific Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans and procedures.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety policies.
• Monitor construction activities, including work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, electrical works, and hot work.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular safety awareness sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with corrective action plans.
• Monitor permit-to-work systems for high-risk construction activities.
• Inspect firefighting equipment, first-aid facilities, emergency exits, and other safety arrangements.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident registers, and safety training documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental protection measures at the project site.
• Ensure timely closure of safety observations and non-compliance reports.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Fire & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline.
• Recognized Industrial Safety qualification or certification will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and applicable safety regulations.
• Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise building, or real estate construction projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct safety training and enforce safety procedures.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing safety reports and maintaining documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in building construction or the real estate industry.
• Practical experience in managing site safety activities and contractor compliance.
• Candidates with high-rise building construction experience are preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
