The candidate will lead thesite safety team, supervise safety officers and supervisors, and coordinate with project management to ensure safe execution of construction activities.
Implement and monitorEHS policies, procedures, and safety standards at the project site.
Ensure safe execution ofconstruction activities including structural works, formwork, reinforcement, finishing, and MEP installations.
Conduct regularsite safety inspections and safety audits.
Identify potentialhazards and unsafe conditions across construction activities.
Ensure preparation and implementation ofJob Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and method statements.
Implement corrective and preventive measures toreduce safety risks.
SuperviseSafety Officers, Safety Engineers, and Safety Supervisors at site.
Guide safety staff in implementation ofsafety procedures and monitoring of site activities.
Ensure properdeployment of safety personnel across work fronts.
Conductsafety training programs and awareness sessions for employees, staff, and workers.
Ensure regulartoolbox talks and safety briefings at site.
Promote safety awareness amongcontractors and labour teams.
Investigateaccidents, incidents, and near misses at site.
Identify root causes and recommendcorrective and preventive actions.
Maintain properincident reports and safety documentation.
Monitor safety performance ofsubcontractors and vendors.
Ensure subcontractors followsite safety guidelines and statutory safety requirements.
Participate incontractor safety meetings and coordination discussions.
Monitorenvironmental management practices such as waste disposal, dust control, and pollution prevention.
Ensure compliance withenvironmental regulations and sustainability guidelines at site.
Maintain records ofsafety inspections, safety training, incident reports, and statutory compliance.
Preparedaily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for project management.
Tracksafety performance indicators and improvement measures.
Strong knowledge ofconstruction safety regulations and standards
Experience inhazard identification, risk assessment, and safety audits
Knowledge ofconstruction activities and associated safety risks
Familiarity withincident investigation procedures
Proficiency inMS Excel and safety reporting tools
Strong leadership and team supervision skills
Excellent communication and training abilities
