Job summary

Smartworld Developers Pvt Ltd is seeking a safety professional to oversee EHS compliance on construction sites in Haryana. The role involves implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project teams to uphold safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in real estate or construction sites, strong knowledge of PPE, risk assessments, and emergency procedures, and a proven track record of training workers and contractors in safe work

Qualifications

• 58 years of relevant experience in real estate/construction project sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and site EHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of EHS policies, safety procedures, and SOPs at the project site.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, work-at-height, scaffolding, lifting, excavation, electrical, and fire safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular safety training for employees and contractors.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident/accident reports, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure proper emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation procedures at the project site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory safety requirements.
