Job summary

Safeguard Global is hiring an HR Shared Services Associate to deliver seamless HR services to clients and employees globally. You will handle queries, support onboarding to offboarding, payroll, contracts, and benefits, while maintaining compliant processes and accurate HR data.

You will work in a remote-first, international environment, collaborating with Payroll, Benefits, and cross-functional teams to optimise efficiency and the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Global HR Shared Services experience in a multinational organisation.
• Experience resolving HR queries and lifecycle support.
• Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday or SAP.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Smartsheet.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve HR queries from clients and employees, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, payroll, benefits administration and record maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with regional and local employment regulations, internal policies and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS platforms and ensure records are updated.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, trackers, and dashboards to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and other teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth HR operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall employee experience.

What will give you an advantage:

• At least 2 years of experience in Global HR Shared Services within a multinational organization, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Basic knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday or SAP.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment.
