Purpose of the Job:

The Zonal Field/Sales HRBP supports field sales teams by aligning HR initiatives with zonal business goals. Acting as a key link between the sales force and central HR, the role focuses on driving performance, talent development, employee engagement, and resolving people issues across regions to build a motivated and high-performing sales organization.

Job Contex:

Zonal Field/Sales HRBP operates in a dynamic, high-pressure environment supporting a geographically dispersed and target-driven sales workforce. The role requires balancing business demands with employee needs, driving consistent engagement and retention across diverse regions and addressing complex people issues with agility and empathy. Ensuring alignment between zonal HR practices and sales goals while maintaining a strong on-ground connect remains a key challenge.

Key Result Areas:

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Manage and resolve complex employee issues through employee connect and grievance redressal
• Build a strong rapport with employees to improve work relationships, morale, and overall engagement.
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
• Plan and Manage New Joiners Inductions and trainings.
• Policy Implementation & Compliance:
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across business units.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies effectively, ensuring legal and ethical compliance.

Learning & Development:

• Assess training needs and coordinate individual coaching or team-based interventions.
• Monitor training program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.

Organizational Development:

• Support organizational design, role clarity, and change management initiatives.
• Contribute to restructuring and transformation programs

Recruitment Support & Onboarding

• Support talent acquisition by manpower planning and strategic hiring inputs. Facilitate smooth onboarding, role transitions and movements

Wellness & Culture Initiatives

• Conceptualize and implement employee wellness, diversity & inclusion, and culture-building initiatives.
• Ensure initiatives align with the organizational mission and values.

HR Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze trends and HR metrics to inform decision-making and propose strategic improvements.
