Job summary

Lenskart in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an HR Business Partner to align people strategy with manufacturing priorities and oversee core HR processes on the shop floor. You will partner with plant heads to drive engagement, manpower planning, and retention while supporting workforce development and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of HRBP preferably in Manufacturing plant
• Strong understanding of employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and HR operations

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant/Functional Heads to translate priorities into people strategies
• Drive Employee Engagement and RnR in Plant
• Address employee issues proactively with all functions and business units
• Ensure onboarding, transfers, promotions, attendance, leave, and separation are executed
• Provide HR insights on workforce, productivity, organization structure, capability, and employee matters
• Lead manpower planning based on production, growth, absenteeism and attrition
• Build shop-floor connections through regular employee interactions and engagement forums
• Identify skill gaps and create training and development programs
• Drive performance management, goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
• Oversee recruitment and selection to attract high-quality talent
• Drive initiatives to strengthen workplace culture, diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing

Role & responsibilities

• Partner with Plant/Functional Heads and managers to understand business priorities and translate them into effective people strategies
• Driving Employee Engagement and RnR in Plant
• Working closely with all functions & business units to address employee issues proactively
• Ensure effective execution of core HR processes including onboarding, transfers, promotions, attendance, leave, confirmation, and separation
• Provide HR insights and solutions on workforce, productivity, organization structure, capability, and employee-related matters
• Drive manpower planning based on production requirements, business growth, absenteeism and attrition
• Build strong shop-floor connect through regular employee interactions, skip-level connects, and engagement forums
• Identify skill gaps and development needs within the business segment and create training and development programs to address these gaps
• Drive performance management processes, goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts high-quality talent
• Drive initiatives to strengthen workplace culture, diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience of HRBP preferably in Manufacturing plant
