Job summary

ZoTok.ai in Hyderabad is seeking a sharp, proactive Executive who can hire people, keep the books clean in Tally, and support daily office operations for a fast-growing startup.

You will blend recruitment duties with basic accounting, handle vendor invoices, onboarding on Keka, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with management on hiring and spend.

Qualifications

• 1.5-3 years in HR recruitment and accounts; hands-on Tally experience essential.
• MBA in HR or Finance preferred.
• Tally ERP / Tally Prime is essential and non-negotiable.
• Working knowledge of GST basics, TDS, petty cash, bank reconciliation and expense tracking.
• Experience with sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination and offer management.
• MS Office: Excel, Word and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Organised, proactive and ready to handle multiple responsibilities.
• English and Telugu/Hindi communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for a sharp, proactive and well-rounded Executive who can hire people and keep the books clean. You will run end-to-end recruitment for a fast-scaling team, manage day-to-day accounting in Tally, and support the operations that keep the office running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to be a visible contributor in a growing startup. You should be ready to switch between sourcing candidates in the morning and closing the day's books by evening.

What You Will Do

• Recruitment Support: Support the hiring team with candidate calls and scheduling interviews.
• Keep candidates and teams informed: Draft and update job postings, give candidates timely updates at every stage, share regular hiring and accounts updates with management, and support team events and joiner welcomes.
• Keep the books clean in Tally: Handle day-to-day entries for sales, purchase, receipts, payments and journals, and complete bank reconciliation. This is a core responsibility.
• Onboard and document: Onboard new employees, add and update employee data on the Keka portal, and maintain employee documentation and records.
• Process invoices and payments: Collect and verify vendor invoices and bills, make timely entries and follow up with Finance for approvals and payments.
• Track hiring and spend: Maintain a recruitment tracker (open roles, pipeline, time-to-hire, source-wise data) and track office expenses and petty cash with daily records and monthly reconciliation.
• Stay compliant: Assist with GST data, TDS records and statutory documentation, and keep bills, vouchers, agreements and employee files audit-ready.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 1.5-3 years in HR recruitment and accounts (or a combination of both). Hands-on Tally experience is essential. Exposure to IT or startup hiring is an advantage.
• Education: MBA in HR or Finance preferred.
• Tally: Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime is essential and non-negotiable.
• Accounts Knowledge: Working knowledge of GST basics, TDS, petty cash, bank reconciliation and expense tracking.
• Recruitment Skills: Experience with sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination and offer management.
• MS Office: Comfortable with Excel, Word and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
• Attitude: Organised, proactive and ready to handle multiple responsibilities. Someone who takes ownership and follows through.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication in English and Telugu / Hindi, with a professional approach to candidates and stakeholders.
