Job summary

Uno Minda Group in Pune is seeking a Lead – Operations/Payroll to oversee end-to-end payroll for 500+ employees, ensuring accurate salary disbursement and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have SAP HCM expertise, hands-on payroll experience, and strong stakeholder management across Finance, HR, and Legal. You will lead onboarding, exits, file management, and drive process improvements, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with salary processing and payroll management for 500+ employees.
• Strong understanding of SAP (HR module) and HRMS experience preferred.
• Supervising employees’ attendance and HR operations like onboarding and exit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for on-roll, contractual, and consultant employees.
• Ensure timely salary disbursement, settlements, and other payouts.
• Validate inputs such as attendance, incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions.
• Review and approve payroll reconciliations and reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, PT, IT, LWF, Gratuity).
• Coordinate with auditors for payroll audits and file returns on time.
• Handle onboarding, exits, and file management; drive process improvements.

Experience & Expertise:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for on-roll, contractual,and consultant employees across all business units.
• Ensure timely disbursement of salaries, full & finalsettlements, and other payouts.
• Validate salary inputs such as attendance, incentives, bonuses,reimbursements, and deductions before payroll closure.
• Review and approve payroll reconciliations and reports.
• Compliance & Statutory Regulations: Ensure 100% compliancewith statutory laws including PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax, LWF, andGratuity.
• Liaison with internal and external auditors to facilitate payrollaudits.
• File timely returns (Form 24Q, PF returns, etc.) and ensureadherence to labour laws and statutory timelines.
• Handle HR operation activities like employee onboarding, exitclearance, internal / external audits
