Job summary

Excis is seeking an HR Generalist (EMEA) to join our global HR team in Navi Mumbai, India. You will partner with leaders across multiple countries to drive HR initiatives that support growth while ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle.

In this role you will manage onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, employee relations, and offboarding, while ensuring GDPR compliance and coordinated payroll, benefits, and HR documentation for international operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 25 years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience.
  • Experience supporting EMEA or multi-country HR operations is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, workforce reporting, HR analytics, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent English communication skills with stakeholders across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to execute HR strategies that align with global business objectives.
  • Managing the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding and contracts to transfers, promotions, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Acting as a trusted HR advisor to managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Supporting international HR operations while ensuring GDPR compliance and internal HR policies across multiple countries.
  • Coordinating with legal advisers, payroll providers, accountants, and external HR partners to deliver seamless HR services.
  • Managing payroll inputs, employee benefits, leave administration, statutory requirements, and HR documentation.
  • Developing and improving HR policies, SOPs, templates, and best practices.
  • Preparing workforce analytics, KPI reports, and HR insights for strategic decisions.
  • Leading HR initiatives to enhance engagement, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Supporting business transformations, restructures, international expansion, and change initiatives.
  • Coaching managers on employment law, HR best practices, and people management.

As our HR Generalist, you'll work closely with leaders across multiple countries, driving HR initiatives that support business growth while ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering world-class HR support by:

  • Partnering with leadership to execute HR strategies that align with global business objectives.
  • Managing the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding and contracts to transfers, promotions, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Acting as a trusted HR advisor to managers by providing guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Supporting international HR operations while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR requirements, and internal HR policies across multiple countries.
  • Coordinating with legal advisers, payroll providers, accountants, and external HR partners to deliver seamless HR services.
  • Managing payroll inputs, employee benefits, leave administration, statutory requirements, and HR documentation.
  • Developing and improving HR policies, SOPs, templates, and best practices that drive operational excellence.
  • Preparing workforce analytics, KPI reports, and HR insights that support strategic business decisions.

  • Driving continuous improvement across HR processes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 25 years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience.
  • Experience supporting EMEA or multi-country HR operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, employee relations, labor law compliance, payroll support, and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, performance management, and HR documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, workforce reporting, HR analytics, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent English communication skills with the confidence to collaborate with stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
