Job summary

Exponent Energy in Bengaluru is seeking an HR Executive to manage the contract workforce across manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate operations. You will oversee onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, vendor management, and ensure statutory compliance.

You will maintain records, validate payroll data, act as the liaison with manpower vendors, and drive HR MIS dashboards to monitor deployment, attrition, and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR Operations, Industrial Relations, Plant HR, or Contract Workforce Management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract labour, statutory compliance, PF, ESIC, payroll, and labour laws.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding, transfers, attendance, deployment, and separation of contract employees.
  • Coordinate with manpower vendors to ensure timely workforce deployment and adequate manpower availability.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and contract workforce databases.
  • Validate attendance, shifts, overtime, leave, and payroll data; coordinate with vendors for wage processing.
  • Act as primary SPOC for manpower vendors/staffing agencies, including invoices, SLAs, and compliance docs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (CLRA, PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, Bonus Act).
  • Maintain statutory records, registers, and support audits and inspections.
  • Handle contract employee grievances, welfare, and disciplinary matters with HR/business teams.
  • Prepare and maintain HR MIS and dashboards covering manpower, attendance, overtime, attrition, payroll, and compliance.
  • Identify workforce trends and provide insights to improve manpower planning and efficiency.

Role Summary

Responsible for end-to-end management of the contract workforce across manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate operations, including manpower deployment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, vendor management, employee relations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of contract employees onboarding, transfers, attendance, deployment, and separation.
  • Coordinate with manpower vendors to ensure timely workforce deployment and adequate manpower availability.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and contract workforce databases.
  • Validate attendance, shifts, overtime, leave, and payroll data; coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely wage processing.
  • Act as the primary SPOC for manpower vendors/staffing agencies, including vendor performance, invoices, SLAs, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including CLRA, PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, Bonus Act, etc.
  • Maintain and review statutory records, registers, and compliance documents; support audits and labour inspections.
  • Handle contract employee grievances, employee relations, welfare, and disciplinary matters in coordination with HR/business teams.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR Operations, Industrial Relations, Plant HR, or Contract Workforce Management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of contract labour, statutory compliance, PF, ESIC, payroll, and labour laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
