Job summary

APPSeCONNECT is hiring for a Talent Acquisition specialist in Kolkata to lead end-to-end recruitment for tech and non-tech roles. You will source, screen, schedule interviews, coordinate offers, and maintain ATS and hiring trackers to ensure clear visibility of candidate progress.

You will also own campus drives and fresher hiring, build relationships with colleges, manage onboarding, and drive employee engagement initiatives. A dynamic, product-focused culture awaits you at APPSeCONNECT.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on HR experience including full-cycle recruitment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient with ATS and Google Workspace or MS Office, including spreadsheets.
• Based in Kolkata or willing to work from Kolkata office.

Talent Acquisition

• Run full-cycle hiring for tech and non-tech roles, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, feedback follow-ups, and offer coordination.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and professional communities, and create compelling job posts.
• Maintain the ATS and hiring trackers to ensure clear visibility of every candidates hiring stage.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear, timely, and effective communication.

Campus & Fresher Hiring

• Plan and execute campus drives end to end, including college outreach, shortlisting, assessments, interview logistics, and post-drive follow-ups.
• Build relationships with placement cells and manage intern and fresher hiring pipelines.
• Support fresher onboarding and early-career programs to help new hires transition smoothly into their roles.

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Plan and execute employee engagement activities, celebrations, team events, and recognition initiatives.
• Conduct pulse surveys and establish feedback loops, translating employee feedback into actionable improvements.
• Draft engaging internal communications that resonate with employees.

HR Operations & Employer Branding

• Manage onboarding processes, including documentation, induction, system access coordination, and a smooth first-day and first-week experience.
• Maintain employee records and support day-to-day HR documentation and policy-related queries.
• Create LinkedIn and social media content showcasing the work culture and employee experience at appse.ai.
• Track key HR metrics, including time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and campus drive outcomes, and share actionable insights.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 1–2 years of hands‑on HR experience, including full‑cycle recruitment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Tech‑savvy, with proficiency in ATS, Google Workspace or MS Office, and spreadsheets, along with a working understanding of tech roles and skills.
• A go-getter attitude with strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to work towards targets and deadlines.
• Strong coordination skills across candidates, hiring managers, colleges, and vendors.
• Based in Kolkata or open to working from our Kolkata office.

Nice to Have

• Experience organising campus drives or managing college outreach.
• Exposure to employee engagement, event planning, or hosting.
• Experience with employer branding or LinkedIn content creation.
• Familiarity with HR automation, ATS workflows, or AI tools for HR.
• A degree or MBA/PGDM in HR (helpful, but not mandatory).
