Job summary

KUKU is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner to work with business leaders and employees, driving people initiatives aligned with business goals in a fast-growing audio content startup. The role requires hands-on, business-oriented leadership and strong HR fundamentals.

You will manage employee lifecycle, performance, engagement, retention, and culture, while partnering with Talent Acquisition on hiring, onboarding, promotions, and exits to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in HRBP / People Partner roles.
• Strong understanding of Employee Life cycle, employee relations, performance management, engagement and HR processes.
• Experience working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Prior experience in B2C, consumer-tech, OTT, startup or high-growth organisation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and managers on people related matters and employee lifecycle management.
• Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
• Drive performance management, goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans.
• Work on employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
• Identify people-related challenges and provide data-driven insights and solutions to business leaders.
• Support workforce planning, organisation structure, and talent management initiatives.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on hiring plans and manpower requirements.
• Drive employee onboarding, internal movements, promotions, and exits.
