JOB SUMMARY
The HRBP supports the delivery of core HR programs and employee lifecycle processes aligned to business needs. This role partners closely with managers to ensure consistent execution of HR practices, high-quality employee experience, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Operating within a globally integrated HR model, this role balances operational excellence with continuous improvement, applying systems thinking to enhance HR processes, enable managers, and contribute to the evolution of a scalable, service-oriented HR function.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee employee lifecycle strategies, ensuring seamless onboarding, development, movement, and offboarding aligned to business needs
- Ensure integrity of HR data, documentation, and systems to support compliance, insights, and informed decision-making
- Act as a strategic advisor to leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, and talent movement to optimize workforce performance
- Support workforce planning, talent reviews, and organizational change initiatives in alignment with business strategy
- Supports business partner
- Partner with HR peers to deliver seamless employee support and drive consistency in HR programs and processes.
- Lead continuous improvement of HR processes and operating models, leveraging standardization, automation, and shared services to scale impact and efficiency
- Strengthen employer branding in the highly competitive Indian tech and operational market.
Talent
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to help drive hiring for India Site
- Partner with leaders to design and execute core HR programs (performance, compensation, talent, engagement) that drive business outcomes
- Coach and develop leaders to strengthen leadership capability, accountability, and overall team performance
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, practices, and people management, balancing risk with business objectives
HR Operations, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure 100% compliance with Indian employment laws, statutory obligations, audits, and labor regulations.
- Help Implement and manage the Four Central Labour Codes (Code on Wages, Industrial Relations, Social Security, and OSH Codes)
- Oversee payroll governance and vendor management (if outsourced), ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage HR risks, POSH framework and maintain ethical governance standards in coordination with global compliance teams

- Manage and resolve employee relations matters with sound judgment, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcome

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA/PG in HR preferred)
- 7+ years of HR experience (operations, coordination, or generalist) in a GCC (Global Capability Centre) / MNC setup
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, and POSH
- Proven experience supporting HR for a site, business unit, or function
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, etc.)
- Exposure to business-facing HR support or coordination
- Strong interest in progressing into an HRBP role
- Demonstrated ability to identify and improve processes or workflows
- Comfort operating in evolving environments with shifting priorities
- Exposure to process improvement, transformation, or change initiatives preferred
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand upstream and downstream impacts
- Experience supporting managers in a dynamic business environment
- Experience working within or alongside shared services or centralized HR models preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
