Gagal Home And Hospitality Service in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily operations across service apartments. You will assign duties, inspect rooms, coordinate with Front Office, and ensure standards are met for guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 13 years of experience in housekeeping within service apartments, hotels or hospitality properties; you will train staff, manage stock, handle guest requests and conduct regular quality checks, including

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in housekeeping in hospitality properties.
• Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Housekeeping Executive preferred.
• Strong knowledge of room cleaning and linen handling.
• Ability to supervise staff efficiently and ensure high standards.
• Attention to cleanliness and detail; good communication skills.
• Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day housekeeping operations across service apartments.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day housekeeping operations across service apartments.
• Assign daily cleaning duties to housekeeping staff and ensure work is completed on time.
• Inspect apartments, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas before guest check-in.
• Ensure all apartments are properly cleaned, arranged and ready as per company standards.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Check-in team regarding guest arrivals, departures and priority cleaning requirements.
• Monitor daily room cleaning, checkout cleaning and deep-cleaning schedules.
• Check linen, towels, toiletries and other guest supplies and ensure proper replenishment.
• Maintain housekeeping stock and report requirements for cleaning materials, linen and guest amenities.
• Supervise laundry and linen movement and prevent unnecessary wastage or loss.
• Report maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, AC, appliance or furniture problems immediately.
• Handle guest housekeeping requests and complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution.
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning standards, hygiene and guest service.
• Maintain staff attendance, duty allocation and daily housekeeping checklists.
• Ensure proper handling and reporting of lost-and-found items.
• Conduct regular quality checks across multiple service apartments.
• Ensure staff follow proper grooming, hygiene and safety standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 13 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a service apartment, hotel or hospitality property.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Housekeeping Executive will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of room cleaning, linen handling and housekeeping procedures.
• Ability to supervise and manage housekeeping staff efficiently.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple apartments and urgent guest requirements.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and housekeeping stock management.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
