Job summary

Raho Hospitalities in Coorg, Karnataka is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and guest readiness across multiple homes and villas. This is a hands-on, on-ground role visiting properties regularly.

You will train housekeeping teams, enforce SOPs, manage inventory, and resolve guest issues, maintaining consistent standards across the portfolio. A meticulous, proactive approach is essential to uphold the Raho brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in hotel, resort, villa or serviced-apartment housekeeping.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Senior Room Attendant or similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of room-cleaning standards, linen management, chemicals and housekeeping SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property and room inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest readiness meet standards.
• Supervise and monitor housekeeping staff and caretakers, ensuring daily cleaning and room turnaround are completed on time.
• Implement and maintain housekeeping SOPs, checklists and standard room setups across all properties.
• Train housekeeping teams on cleaning standards, bed making, bathroom sanitation, amenities, chemicals and hygiene practices.
• Manage and monitor linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies and housekeeping inventory, including shortages, damages and wastage.
• Identify and report maintenance, pest-control and property upkeep issues and follow up until closure.
• Handle and resolve housekeeping-related guest complaints and address recurring quality issues.

About the Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Raho is responsible for ensuring that every Raho

property consistently meets the company's standards for cleanliness, hygiene,

presentation and guest readiness.

Unlike a traditional hotel, Raho operates multiple homes and villas across different

locations. The Housekeeping Supervisor will therefore be an on-ground, mobile role,

regularly visiting properties, inspecting rooms and common areas, training

housekeeping teams and caretakers, monitoring inventory and ensuring that

housekeeping standards are consistently maintained across the portfolio.

The role requires someone who is extremely detail-oriented, hands-on and capable of

identifying and correcting issues before they affect the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• ●Conduct regular property and room inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest readiness meet Raho standards.
• ●Supervise and monitor housekeeping staff and caretakers, ensuring daily cleaning and room turnaround are completed on time.
• ●Implement and maintain housekeeping SOPs, checklists and standard room setups across all properties.
• ●Train housekeeping teams on cleaning standards, bed making, bathroom sanitation, amenities, chemicals and hygiene practices.
• ●Manage and monitor linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies and housekeeping inventory, including shortages, damages and wastage.
• ●Identify and report maintenance, pest-control and property upkeep issues and follow up until closure.
• ●Handle and resolve housekeeping-related guest complaints and address recurring quality issues.
• ●Plan and monitor deep cleaning and preventive cleaning schedules across properties.
• ●Conduct periodic housekeeping audits and maintain records of scores, observations and corrective actions.
• ●Coordinate with Operations and other teams to ensure consistent housekeeping standards across all Raho properties.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will primarily be measured through:

• ●Housekeeping audit scores
• ●Guest cleanliness ratings and reviews
• ●Number of housekeeping-related guest complaints
• ●Room readiness before check-in
• ●Completion of scheduled deep cleaning
• ●Linen loss and damage

Requirements

same standard of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail, regardless of which

property they are staying at.
