Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in hotel, resort, villa or serviced-apartment.
• Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant is preferred.
• Strong understanding of room-cleaning standards, linen management, chemicals and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property and room inspections to ensure standards.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and caretakers to ensure timely cleaning and turnover.
• Implement and maintain SOPs, checklists and standard room setups across all properties.
• Train housekeeping teams on cleaning standards, bed making, bathroom sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Manage linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies and inventory; monitor shortages and wastage.
• Identify and report maintenance or upkeep issues and follow up until closure.
• Handle guest complaints and address recurring quality issues.
• Plan deep cleaning and preventive schedules across properties.
• Conduct periodic housekeeping audits and maintain records of scores and actions.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure consistent standards across all properties.

About the Role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Raho is responsible for ensuring that every Raho property consistently meets the company's standards for cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest readiness.

Unlike a traditional hotel, Raho operates multiple homes and villas across different locations. The Housekeeping Supervisor will therefore be an on-ground, mobile role, regularly visiting properties, inspecting rooms and common areas, training housekeeping teams and caretakers, monitoring inventory and ensuring that housekeeping standards are consistently maintained across the portfolio.

The role requires someone who is extremely detail-oriented, hands-on and capable of identifying and correcting issues before they affect the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property and room inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest readiness meet Raho standards.
• Supervise and monitor housekeeping staff and caretakers, ensuring daily cleaning and room turnaround are completed on time.
• Implement and maintain housekeeping SOPs, checklists and standard room setups across all properties.
• Train housekeeping teams on cleaning standards, bed making, bathroom sanitation, amenities, chemicals and hygiene practices.
• Manage and monitor linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies and housekeeping inventory, including shortages, damages and wastage.
• Identify and report maintenance, pest-control and property upkeep issues and follow up until closure.
• Handle and resolve housekeeping-related guest complaints and address recurring quality issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in hotel, resort, villa or serviced-apartment
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Senior Room Attendant or
• Strong understanding of room-cleaning standards, linen management, chemicals and housekeeping SOPs
• Experience supervising and training housekeeping teams.
