Job summary

Vishal Consultants in Indore region is seeking a qualified nurse to provide 24/7 residential health support for hostel students. The role includes attending to illness, injuries, first aid, and ongoing wellness checks to ensure student safety.

The candidate must reside on campus, possess valid nursing registration, and demonstrate strong communication and calm handling of emergencies. Prior experience in hostel or educational settings is preferred; night-time shifts are included.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 residential nursing support and basic medical care to hostel students.
• Attend to students in case of illness, injury, minor emergencies, and health concerns.
• Provide first aid and administer medicines as prescribed by doctors.
• Monitor students' health, temperature, vital signs, and well-being.
• Maintain medical records, student health files, medicine records, and incident reports.
• Ensure timely administration of prescribed medications and manage medicine stock.
• Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, and emergency services as needed.
• Accompany students to hospitals/clinics for serious illness or emergencies.
• Conduct regular health checks and identify symptoms needing medical attention.
• Support students with common health concerns and general wellness.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the hostel infirmary/medical room.
• Inform hostel management of serious health issues or emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of students' medical information.
• Work closely with warden, hostel administration, and college management for safety.
• Be available for night-time and emergency medical assistance.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding students medical information.
• Work closely with the warden, hostel administration, and college management to ensure students health and safety.
• Be available for night-time and emergency medical assistance as part of the residential role.
