Job summary

SaffronStays is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee hospitality operations across our 150+ homes in Maharashtra and Goa. You will lead audits, training, and cross‑department coordination to ensure consistent, high‑quality guest experiences.

You will manage staff performance, drive process improvements, and monitor budgets and expenditures to maintain service standards. Prior experience in hospitality operations and audits is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Hospitality required.
• Experience in hospitality operations and audits preferred.
• Strong communication and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Audits of properties.
• Conduct Launch and other critical audits; follow up on upgrades.
• Train the team and evaluate performance; guide supervisors.
• Ensure guest-oriented operations and maintain service standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and cost control.

Department: Hospitality Operations

Roles and Responsibility:

• Scheduling and conducting Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Audits of properties.
• Conducting Launch and other critical audits
• Following up on urgent needs /upgrades at properties
• Conducting regular training sessions for the team
• Evaluating employee’s performance and sharing feedback with reporting authority
• Work collaboratively with other departments to make sure operations are running smoothly in tandem with one another
• Anticipate all guest needs and respond promptly & accordingly.
• Ensure Guest oriented approach is cultivated and maintained in the team
• Maintain standards for staff performance and customer service
• Assisting Operations managers in drawing short-term and long-term action plans
• Guiding and Assisting supervisors in day-to-day operations
• Support supervisors in critical decision making
• Conducting monthly and quarterly reviews with the team and setting goals for the next month
• Ensuring effective communication across teams and departments
• Contribute to cost optimization in the region
• Ensuring all the guests’ feedback/ complaints are addressed on priority by the team
• Taking guest feedback and maintaining a cordial relationship with regular guests
• Ensuring all the financial transactions are recorded with precision
• Ensuring the travel and other expenses are as per budgets
• Rolling out new processes and guiding team members in the process.
• Contribute to improving processes for efficient operations
• Ensuring the product and service quality is as per standard operating procedures
• Assisting other departments to achieve common business goals
