Job summary

ImagicaaWorld Entertainment Limited in Pune seeks an energetic Assistant General Manager-Operations to lead end-to-end operations across entertainment and amusement divisions. You will drive operational excellence, guest experiences, and commercial performance while ensuring quality, safety and compliance.

The role requires 12-18 years in hospitality/entertainment with 5+ years in senior leadership overseeing multi-unit operations, including F&B, retail and services.

Qualifications

• 12-18 years progressive experience in Hospitality, Entertainment, Theme Parks, Multiplexes, Hotels, Resorts, QSR or Large Format Retail.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial leadership role handling multi-unit operations.
• Experience in Food & Beverage Operations, Commercial Operations and Revenue Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Hospitality/Operations; MBA adds advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall operations across F&B, Guest Services, Entertainment, Retail and Facilities, driving process excellence, safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee F&B operations with focus on hygiene, service standards, menu innovation, inventory management and profitability.
• Drive revenue and profitability across F&B, entertainment, retail, events and other streams through revenue strategies and planning.
• Foster a guest-centric culture with exceptional hospitality and consistent service standards.
• Manage operating budgets and control food, labour, inventory, utilities and other costs while maintaining quality.
• Lead readiness for new projects, expansions and enhancements including manpower and equipment planning.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, quality, supply continuity and cost-effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, food safety, labour, health and safety requirements; lead audits and risk reviews.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and audits using data to improve productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams; drive capability building and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, Engineering, IT to execute strategic initiatives.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Assistant General Manager-Operations to lead end-to-end operations across our entertainment and amusement businesses. The role will drive operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership & Business Excellence: Lead overall operations across F&B, Guest Services, Entertainment, Retail and Facilities, driving process excellence, efficiency, safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
2. Food & Beverage Operations: Lead F&B operations with focus on food quality, hygiene, service standards, menu innovation, inventory optimization, cost control and profitability.
3. Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth: Drive revenue and profitability across F&B, entertainment, retail, events and other business streams through revenue strategies, performance analysis and effective operational planning.
4. Guest Experience & Brand Excellence: Build a guest-centric culture by delivering exceptional hospitality, enhancing engagement and satisfaction, and maintaining consistent service standards.
5. Cost Management & Financial Control: Manage operational budgets and control food, labour, inventory, utilities and other operating costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
6. Business Expansion & Operational Readiness: Lead operational readiness for new projects, expansions and enhancements, including manpower, equipment, processes, technology and execution planning.
7. Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Manage strategic vendor relationships, procurement, quality, supply continuity and commercial negotiations to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
8. Compliance, Safety & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with statutory, food safety, labour, health and safety requirements. Lead audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
9. Operational Audits & Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular operational reviews and audits, using data and analytics to improve productivity, optimize costs and enhance guest satisfaction.
10. People Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams through engagement, performance management, capability building and succession planning.
11. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, Engineering, Projects, IT and other functions to execute strategic initiatives and business improvement programs.
12. Reporting, Governance & Strategic Planning: Drive operational dashboards, MIS, financial reviews and KPI tracking while supporting strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and organizational governance.

Experience & Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Operations Management or equivalent. MBA in Operations, Hospitality Management or Business Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:
