Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as Hospital Administration Manager, Medical Office Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital industry.
• Hands on experience with database systems and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations.
• Basic accounting skills. Familiarity with medical transcription.

Responsibilities

• Ensure floor requirements are met and patient care is managed on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide effective communication between patients and medical staff; address queries and maintain standards.
• Coordinate availability of doctors and resolve operational issues.
• Promptly respond to nursing calls and monitor staff behavior and attitude.
• Ensure new admissions and timely discharges are updated in the system.
• Provide information and ensure completeness of Medical Record Files.
• Oversee daily patient care services and handle queries to ensure courteous communication and information provision.
• Maintain proactive, responsive service in person, by phone or email.

Floor Manager Requirements:

Duties:-

• The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring that all floor requirements are met.
• To be successful as a floor manager, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized.
• Ensures Availability of Doctor and Resolves Issues related to Operation Management.
• Ensures prompt Response to nursing calls. Monitors Staff behavior and attitude
• Ensures that new admissions received in the system.
• Ensures that discharges are completed on time in the system.
• Ensures Patient care by Addresses patient problems with any queries or requests.
• Provides information in case of any queries, checking completeness of Medical Record File.
• Manage the day to day Patient Care Services, Personally handle queries to ensure accurate courteous communication, providing all required information
• Provide an effective communication link between patient and medical staff, Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure service is proactive responsive whether in person, on the telephone or via mail.
