Job summary

Dr Shroffs Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) seeks an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee multi-functional management across the hospital network, aligning business planning, revenue generation, cost control, HR, quality and compliance, COP training, inventory and facilities.

You will coordinate training, implement policies, monitor performance, and report to senior management to ensure patient safety, service excellence, and efficient operations within the Indian healthcare context.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual business plan targets, surgical volumes, and revenue goals.
• Support preparation of the Annual Business Plan.
• Drive revenue through surgeries, empanelments (PMJAY, TPAs, ECHS), opticals, and other sources.
• Plan and execute demand generation activities to increase patient footfall.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenses.
• Analyse surgery, OPD, and procedure costs for optimum resource utilization.
• Monitor patient acquisition costs and improve efficiency.
• Provide effective leadership and ensure policy implementation.
• Address employee grievances and conduct manpower planning.
• Coordinate training with Central HR and promote a positive work culture.
• Define clear roles, monitor performance, and uphold organizational values.
• Support manpower planning and candidate sourcing.
• Ensure training schedules, rosters, attendance, competency, and discipline are maintained and reported.
• Monitor quality indicators, patient safety, infection control, and surgical outcomes.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and enhance patient experience.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Support accreditations and maintain contracts, AMC/CMC records, and legal documentation.
• Ensure financial controls and cost efficiency.
• Maintain adequate inventory and proper utilization of consumables.
• Build relationships with local stakeholders, NGOs, and community groups.
• Plan outreach programmes and monitor project implementation to increase patient inflow.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of hospital, vision centres, and guest houses.
• Ensure all medical and non-medical equipment are functional.
• Monitor key performance indicators, analyse deviations, and submit reports to senior management.
