Job summary

Twenty Five South Realty is seeking a skilled Horticulturist to lead landscape maintenance across project sites. You will supervise planting, lawn care, pruning, irrigation, pest management, and seasonal plantings to ensure healthy, appealing green spaces.

You will coordinate with contractors and site teams, maintain records, implement sustainable practices, and ensure safety in handling tools and chemicals. On-site work across multiple locations is required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or Diploma in horticulture or a related field.
• Experience in landscaping and horticulture activities.
• Knowledge of irrigation, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Ability to manage manpower and contractors.
• Willingness to work at project/site locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee horticulture and landscape maintenance activities.
• Manage lawns, plants, trees, shrubs, flower beds, vertical gardens, and other green areas.
• Develop seasonal plantation and gardening plans based on site requirements.
• Ensure watering, pruning, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, and fertilization is timely.
• Identify plant diseases, pests, and deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Monitor irrigation systems and ensure efficient water use.
• Coordinate with landscape contractors, gardeners, and site teams for daily tasks.
• Supervise manpower and allocate daily horticulture activities.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of gardening tools, equipment, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Maintain records of plantation, replacements, fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation, and manpower.
• Coordinate with vendors and nurseries for plant procurement and materials.
• Conduct site inspections and identify improvement needs.
• Ensure activities follow approved landscape designs and project standards.
• Support landscape development during new project execution and handover.
• Implement sustainable practices like composting and water conservation.

Job Purpose

To manage and maintain landscaping, plantations, gardens, green areas, and horticultural activities across project sites, ensuring healthy plant growth, aesthetic appeal, and proper maintenance of landscape areas.
