Role & responsibilities

• Overseeing the overall health and appearance of gardens, lawns, trees, and other green areas within a real estate development.


• Implementing maintenance schedules for plants, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.


• Managing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution.


• Identifying and addressing pest and disease issues in plants, potentially using both organic and conventional methods.


• Working with other teams (e.g., landscape architects, construction crews) to implement landscaping plans and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Client Interaction:


• In some roles, liaising with clients (e.g., residents, property managers) to understand their needs and preferences for landscaping.


• Managing budgets for horticultural projects and ensuring cost-effectiveness.


• Implementing sustainable landscaping practices to minimize environmental impact.


• Maintaining records of plant care schedules, maintenance activities, and inventory.


• Strong understanding of plant care, soil management, pest and disease control, and landscaping techniques.


• Practical experience in planting, pruning, irrigation, and other landscaping tasks.
