Job summary

Ugaoo Agritech is seeking a passionate Horticulture Advisor to join our Baner retail team. You will guide customers on plants, pots, and gardening products, and provide expert plant-care advice.

The ideal candidate has a B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture, strong knowledge of plants, excellent communication, and enjoys helping customers create thriving indoor and outdoor gardens.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture.
• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening practices, and plant care.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Passion for gardening and helping customers succeed in their plant journey.
• Comfortable working in a retail environment with rotational shifts and weekly offs.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in selecting plants, pots, and gardening products based on needs and environment.
• Provide expert advice on plant care, watering schedules, fertilization, and pest management.
• Educate customers about plant species and gardening techniques to enhance their gardening experience.
• Ensure plant health and upkeep within the store by monitoring watering, pruning, and maintenance requirements.
• Support visual merchandising by maintaining attractive plant displays.
• Assist customers with queries and provide a seamless in-store experience.
• Stay updated on new products, plant varieties, and gardening trends.
