Job summary

Ugaoo is seeking a passionate Horticulture Advisor to join our Pune retail team. You will guide customers in selecting plants, pots, and gardening products and provide expert plant-care advice to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will stay updated on plant varieties, gardening trends, and product offerings while contributing to merchandising and customer service excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture required.
• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening practices, and plant care.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Passion for gardening and helping customers succeed in their plant journey.
• Comfortable working in a retail environment with rotational shifts and weekly offs.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in selecting plants, pots, and gardening products based on their needs and environment.
• Provide expert advice on plant care, maintenance, watering schedules, fertilization, and pest management.
• Educate customers about various plant species and gardening techniques to enhance their gardening experience.
• Ensure plant health and upkeep within the store by monitoring watering, pruning, and general maintenance requirements.
• Support visual merchandising by maintaining attractive and informative plant displays.
• Assist customers with queries and provide a seamless in-store experience.
• Stay updated on new products, plant varieties, and gardening trends.

Role: Horticulture Advisor

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Horticulture Advisor to join our retail team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of plants and gardening practices and enjoy interacting with customers to provide expert guidance and support.
