Job summary

Legs Go Chennai is seeking a passionate Travel Sales Consultant to translate customer inquiries into confirmed bookings. You will design domestic and international packages, present itineraries, and nurture relationships through multiple channels.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and target-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering outstanding travel experiences and data-driven follow-ups to boost sales and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• 13 years of experience in travel sales, holiday packages, or a related travel industry role.
• Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
• Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM tools, or GDS is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with travel products and destinations.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
• Understand customer travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
• Recommend and customise domestic and international holiday packages.
• Prepare and present travel itineraries, quotations, and package details.
• Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with the operations and ticketing teams to ensure accurate booking information.
• Stay updated on destinations, travel trends, hotels, activities, and package offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and sales in the company's CRM or tracking system.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and other business-development activities.
