About the Role

We’re inviting experienced gender diversity professionals to join us as HMI Architects and help shape the future of connected intelligent mobility.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead HMI architecture for Android Automotive, enabling multi-screen, 3D, and adaptive UI frameworks.
• Design interfaces for real-time data from ECUs, sensors, and APIs (navigation, multimedia).
• Integrate with AOSP, HAL components, and automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP).
• Evaluate technology stacks, author technical proposals, and optimize for performance and security.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, embedded engineers, and Tier 1 suppliers to prototype and iterate.
• Lead testing, performance analysis, and system-level optimization for automotive‑grade standards.
• Mentor junior developers and champion Android Automotive best practices.

Qualifications

• 10–18 years of experience in embedded/real‑time systems and HMI architecture.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on expertise with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, and Android framework development.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C/C++, Python, JNI, and Android SDK.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, and design tools like Figma.
• Experience with automotive protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and OS platforms (QNX, Linux, Android).
• Strong grasp of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and a user‑first mindset.
