Job summary

Nirmal Industrial Controls in Navi Mumbai seeks a Mechanical Draftsman to develop GA drawings, piping layouts, and 3D models for skid frames and related equipment. You will produce detailed technical drawings and ensure alignment with engineering specifications.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for errors, preparing BOMs and technical documents, maintaining records, and coordinating with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Structural teams for proper skid integration.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings and models based on engineering specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project objectives and design intent.
• Assist in the revision and modification of existing drawings and models according to changes in project scope.
• Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and models to check for potential errors or inconsistencies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes in all drafting work.
• Aid in the organization and maintenance of engineering documents and files.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of design changes or variations.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, piping layouts, and 3D models for the skid frame and associated equipment (vessels).
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), piping specifications, Valve datasheets, and technical documents.
• Check fabrication drawings (isometrics), Base frame drawing, and oversee assembly/welding on the skid.
• Collaborate with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation (E&I), and Structural teams for proper skid integration.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), site commissioning, and troubleshoot issues during installation.
• Review vendor drawings, participate in technical bid evaluations, and ensure component compatibility.
