Global Healthcare Billing Partners in Chennai seeks Experienced Certified ED Professional Coders to accurately code ED charts using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. You will review complex records and apply NCCI edits and E/M level guidance.

This full-time, office-based role welcomes 1–3 years of ED coding experience and degrees in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related fields. Immediate joiners preferred with a highly attractive salary package.

Formación

Position Summary

We are looking for Experienced Certified ED Professional Coders who possess a strong understanding of Emergency Department coding guidelines.

• Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Emergency Department (ED) professional fee and/or facility charts.
• Review complex medical records, clinician notes, and diagnostic results t capture all definitive diagnoses and procedures.
• Apply knowledge of E/M (Evaluation and Management) levels, modifier usage, and National Correct Coding Initiatives (NCCI) edits.

Requirements

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of core experience in Emergency Department (ED) medical coding is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
