Job summary

Eclat Health Solutions is recruiting ED facility coders/QA to review emergency department documentation and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and facility-level codes in line with current guidelines. You will support compliant billing and accurate reimbursement.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree and certifications like CPC/CCS/COC, with hands-on experience in ED/facility coding, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II, plus familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• ED facility coding with ACEP guidelines.
• Experience in I&I vaccine codes.
• Familiar with procedures performed in emergency room.
• Knowledge of critical care and trauma activation.
• Knowledge of NCCI edits and LCD/NCD policies.
• In-depth experience of fracture care coding guidelines and combination/external cause codes.
• ICD-10-CM guidelines experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of modifiers used in emergency for procedures and levels.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The ED Facility Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing emergency department documentation and assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and facility-level coding based on medical records. The coder ensures compliance with coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulatory standards while supporting accurate billing and reimbursement.

• Coder must be familiar with ED facility level coding with the help of ACEP guidelines
• Coders must mandatorily has experience in coding I&I and vaccine codes
• Must familiarize with procedures performed in emergency room
• Must have knowledge of critical care and trauma team activation.
• Must have knowledge of NCCI edits and LCD, NCD policies
• Must have in-depth experience of Fracture care coding guidelines and combination codes and external cause codes.
• ICD 10 CM guidelines experience is mandatory

Required Qualifications

• Any bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification such as:
