Job summary

Savista in Chennai is seeking an Assistant Manager Workforce Management to optimize staffing, improve workforce utilization, and support business objectives and service-level commitments.

You will develop forecasts, analyze workload and staffing requirements, calculate FTE needs, and propose hiring, cross-skilling, and allocation strategies while driving workforce dashboards and KPI tracking for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Workforce Management.
• Strong hands-on experience in Forecasting, Capacity Planning, Workforce Analytics, Resource Planning, and Staffing Models.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term workforce forecasts and capacity plans.
• Analyze workload, productivity, business trends, and staffing requirements.
• Calculate FTE requirements and identify staffing gaps.
• Recommend hiring, cross-skilling, overtime, and resource allocation strategies.
• Conduct scenario planning and workforce optimization.
• Develop workforce dashboards and MIS reports.
• Track KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Capacity Utilization, Productivity, Occupancy, and Hiring Forecast Accuracy.
• Partner with Operations, Recruitment, HR, Training, and Finance teams.
• Present workforce insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Drive process improvements and workforce planning initiatives.
