Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc seeks an experienced professional to provide technical and applications support for LabTec product lines in Mumbai. You will drive regional sales alongside the sales team, conduct on-site demos, and deliver customer training while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate data management.

The role requires a strong background in analytical instruments, with 8+ years of experience and 3+ years in technical support, plus exposure to software programming.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc or engineering/biotech/physics/chemistry degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in analytical instruments; at least 3 years in technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and applications support for LabTec product lines and drive regional sales targets with the sales team.
• Handle pre- and post-sales technical activities, including on-site and e-demos, seminars, and customer training.
• Guide customers on regulatory requirements (USP, Eu Ph, 21 CFR Part 11, OIML R-111, OIML R-76, ISO 8655, Legal metrology) and compliance.
• Understand weighing applications and assist in data management and integration per good weighing practices.
• Demonstrate balances and weighing software solutions at customer sites.
• Collaborate with service teams to modify methods on-site to improve customer satisfaction.
• Share product marketing information and feedback to product/Business Manager for improvements.
• Conduct technical seminars and info days at customer locations.
• Drive installation by coordinating with local sales and service teams and ensure lifecycle value.
• Provide periodic technical and application training to local sales and service teams.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the technical and applications support for LabTec product lines and drive regional sales target along with sales team.
• To be responsible for the technical activities related to Pre & Post sales, performing high level technical sales support via site and e-demos, technical seminars and customer training.
• To be responsible for guiding team on regulations such as USP, Eu Ph, 21 CFR Part 11, OIML R-111, OIML R-76, ISO 8655, Legal metrology etc and assisting customers to comply to regulatory requirements.
• To be responsible for understanding customer’s weighing related application and workflows and assisting to modify / make necessary changes as per good weighing practices and data management / data integration.
• To be responsible for demonstrating balances and weighing applications with and without software solutions at customer’s site.
• On site modification of methods as per customer’s application in collaboration with service team to improve customer satisfaction.
• To provide product marketing information and related market feedback to product and Business Manager to enhance existing products or to develop completely new products
• Conduct Technical seminars (GxP) & Info days at customer’s place.
• Drive successful Installation by collaborating with local sales and service team and increase utility of sold products throughout the life cycle.
• Conduct periodic technical & application training to local sales & service team
• To support local sales team in planning & delivering high level site penetration activities.

What You Need to Succeed

• Qualifications and Technical Skills:
• M.Sc / BSc / Degree from Engineering, Biotec, Physics or Chemistry. Exposure to Software programming would be an added advantage
• Minimum experience of more than 8 years in the field of analytical instruments. Should have technical support experience of more than 3 years.
