Job summary

DATAMARK, IN seeks a Hindi language interpreter to convey messages accurately between Hindi and English, preserving tone and style. The role requires native fluency in English and Hindi, plus certification (B2/HSK4) and strong cultural understanding.

You must be able to handle challenging calls while remaining professional and neutral. The position involves rotational night shifts, 5 working days with 2 rotational days off, and full-time employment with Overtime pay and Mediclaim benefits.

Responsibilities

• Render accurate meaning between languages, maintaining grammar and style.
• Provide precise renditions of messages and handle challenging calls.
• Demonstrate clear enunciation, professional voice, and courteous communication.
• Follow client instructions, manage call flow, and avoid restricted interactions.
• Stay calm, punctual, and available during scheduled hours; ensure internet access.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.

We are actively seeking for Hindi Language interpreters. Below JD for your reference.

For Foreign Language Interpreter Role–

Minimum Requirements:

• High Schools degree or equivalent.
• Native Fluency in English and Language.
• Certification Required – B2/HSK4
• Advanced skills in the cultural dynamics (cultural implication and idiomatic expression) of language.
• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and remain neutral and objective at all times.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at request of the client.

Responsibilities:

• Renders correct concepts and meanings between language and English following complexity, clarity, tone and style from one language into another, upholding the correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages.
• Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation and is prepared for challenging calls at any time.
• Employs good customer service and communication skills, clear enunciation, pronunciation, pleasant and professional voice as well as polite forms of expression.
• Follows instructions for clients, manages the flow of the call and avoids taking over the call, as well as avoids interaction with the limited English speaker person without the client's permission.
• Remains calm during calls in the event that one of the primary speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergency situations.
• Remains punctual and available during scheduled work hours.
• Ensures access to the internet for work related electronic communication.
• All other duties as assigned.

Applicants should be comfortable with Rotational Shifts (Including night).

Working days: 5 days (2 rotational week off)
