DATAMARK, IN seeks Hindi language interpreters for full-time roles in India. Requirements include native English fluency and B2/HSK4 certification, with strong listening and note-taking skills and the ability to stay neutral on calls.

The position involves rotational shifts, including night hours, and demands excellent communication and customer service. Responsibilities include accurate interpretation between languages, handling challenging calls, and maintaining professionalism and composure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Renders correct concepts and meanings between language and English following complexity, clarity, tone and style from one language into another.
• Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation and is prepared for challenging calls at any time.
• Employs good customer service and communication skills, clear enunciation, pronunciation, pleasant and professional voice as well as polite forms of expression.
• Follows instructions for clients, manages the flow of the call and avoids taking over the call, and avoids interaction with Limited English speaker without client’s permission.
• Remains calm during calls if one speaker is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies.
• Remains punctual and available during scheduled work hours.
• Ensures access to the internet for work related electronic communication.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Applicants should be comfortable with Rotational Shifts (Including night).
• Working days: 5 days (2 rotational week off).

• Native Fluency in English and Language Certification Required - B2/HSK4
• Advanced skills in the cultural dynamics (cultural implication and idiomatic expression) of language.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and remain neutral and objective at all times.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at request of the client.

Responsibilities

Renders correct concepts and meanings between language and English following complexity, clarity, tone and style from one language into another, upholding the correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages.

Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation and is prepared for challenging calls at any time.

Follows instructions for clients, manages the flow of the call and avoids taking over the call, as well as avoids interaction with the limited English speaker person without the client's permission.

Remains calm during calls in the event that one of the primary speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergency situations.

Remains punctual and available during scheduled work hours.

Ensures access to the internet for work related electronic communication.

All other duties as assigned.
